The Colosseum also call Coliseum is a huge emphitheatre in the center of Rome, Italy.  It was designed to hold 50000 spectators and it was used for gladiatorial fights and public spectacles, such as mock sea battles, animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles.  The Rome Colesseum was elected as one of the new seven Wonders of the World. Although the Colosseum was heavily damaged by earthquakes and stone-robbers, it is an ionic symbol of Imperial Rome and is one of the finest surviving examples of Roman Architecture.  This is the one of the most popular tourist attractions with thousands of tourists each day paying the entrance free to view the interior arena.  The Roman colosseum was the only European representative chosen.  This also called the Amphithetrum Flavium, was built between 70 and 82 AD by the Flavian emperors, Vespasian and Titus.  When visiting the Roman Colossem, you can avoid the long ticket lines by buying a ticket at the nearby Palatine Hill entrance.  There we can take picture with a gladiator outside the Colloseum.
